Current job opening – TELE-SALES REPRESENTATIVE
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Tele-Sales representative, you will be directly responsible for:
  • Supporting the sales team by making outbound calls to generate leads, verify client information and setting appointments for outside sales reps (primary function)
    • Identify appropriate prospects within target organizations
    • Enter appropriate information into CRM system
    • Contact prospects and secure demo’s
    • Send follow up information (e.g. contracts, whitepapers, etc.)
    • Follow up with prospects as necessary
  • Identifying opportunities within target organizations
  • Participating in marketing efforts (e.g. web, email, and telephone marketing campaigns)
  • Initiating and increasing level of industry knowledge and sales techniques through formal and informal training

This is a great opportunity to learn about the information security sales process. This is a full time position with a compensation plan (consisting of a base salary and commissions) commensurate with skills and experience.  Full range of benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Vacations, Holidays.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Ideal candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills, be self-motivated and able to manage their own time, be persistent and quick thinking, have basic computer skills, have a customer service approach when working with clients, partners, vendors, and Fortrex employees, and have a professional work ethic.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • AA and/or relevant real world experience
  • Minimum of 1 year sales or telemarketing experience
  • Experience in the IT industry is a plus (IT Security ++)
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and miscellaneous vendor price lists is a plus
